๐ Our Commitment to Ongoing CPD (Coming Soon)
As Tutors Alliance Scotland develops, we are working towards building a culture of continuous professional development (CPD) across our membership. In the future, we plan to encourage all members to complete a minimum of 6 hours of CPD per year to support their growth as high-quality, reflective practitioners.
This may include areas such as:
- Subject knowledge updates (e.g. maths, literacy, science)
- Pedagogical strategies and learning approaches
- Working with learners with additional support needs
- Online teaching and edtech tools
- Safeguarding refreshers and wellbeing training
- Ethical business practice and tuition professionalism
We are currently building a range of recommended CPD options and will share opportunities with our members as they become available.
๐ Please note: while ongoing CPD is not yet a formal requirement, it will become an important part of maintaining your TAS membership in the near future.
